NEWS & EVENTS
The Los Angeles Chapter of the Hopscotch Network is excited to announce two great upcoming events in support of Komen Race for the Cure, a national series of 5K charity runs to raise awareness and funds to fight breast cancer. I hope you'll come out and join us at one or both of these events, as these are fantastic opportunities to support a worthwhile cause while meeting some other fun socially-conscious people in LA!
1) PINK: Party for the Cure - The LA Hopscotch Network has been invited by partner-organization Philanthro Productions to be a part of an amazing charity benefit in support of Komen Race for the Cure. Philanthro is taking over Level 3 at Hollywood & Highland on February 8th for a night of fund raising, dancing, and socializing, and there will also be an opportunity to pre-register for the Race for a Cure at the event by joining the Hopscotch-Philanthro race team! Please see the flyer below for details (click on it to expand), dust off your best pink shirt, and get ready for the 8th!
2) Race for the Cure - If you can't make it to PINK, you can still be part of the Hopscotch-Philanthro race team and join us on the morning of March 15th to run a 5K and raise money in support of fighting breast cancer. Our goal is to get a team of at least 100 runners together for this event which promises to be a fun and fulfilling way to spend a Saturday morning. Simply click here to learn more about the race, or here to register as part of our team!
Please feel free to contact me with any questions about these events, and I hope to see you at PINK as well as on race day!

All right…Halloween is over and if you’re like me, then
you’re bummed about putting away your costume and are wondering why you
can’t stop eating the leftover Butterfingers. Well, it’s time to get
rid of that candy hangover, break out your best team uniform, and start
stretching that shooting arm. Get ready…it’s officially time to throw
ping-pong balls into red cups and raise money for a great cause.
